Yes. We suggest registering through our website even on Race Day. This can be done on your mobile device or computer or at our registration station on one of our devices. This is the fastest way to register. Registration will close at 8:00 AM on Race Day when the Opening Ceremony begins. Cash is not accepted on race day.

Shirts are not guaranteed on Race Day. Please consider registering before October 15th to secure your shirt and size.

Yes, all participants running the 5k will receive a chipped bib. Early registrants will receive a Gobble Wobble limited edition bib. Later registrants, including Race Day registrants, will receive a bib, but it may not be the limited edition version. 

All race results will be posted on this page after the race ends: Race Results. Participants will be able to scan a QR code on their bib and on signage around the event area to view their results as well.

When visiting the race results page, make sure the filters at the top of the page are set to show results for the race site where you are participating.

Awards are given out following the end of the 5k. Awards vary based on the race location. 

Haverford YMCA Course
Medals will be given to the overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place runners of the race for male, female, and non-binary categories. Medals will also be given to the 1st place runner in each age bracket in the male and female categories.

Age brackets: 6-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

Navy Yard Course

If you want to switch your event type (from 5K to walk or vice versa) or change the location where you are participating, please contact our race team. We are able to change your registration until 15 minutes before the in-person races begin. Changes can be requested via email before race day, at pre-race packet pickup, or during check-in on race day.

When switching event types, make sure you receive an updated bib. Runner bibs have a chip timer which is needed for you to get your race results. If you request to change your event before pre-race packet pickup your bib will be updated by our team before you arrive for pickup.

Participants can switch from in-person race sites to the virtual race. There is no cost to switch event types or location. Shirts and sizing are still guaranteed for participants who registered before the shirt deadline if switching event type or location.

Cash is not accepted on race day. Our online registration process through this site is open on race day morning until 8:00 AM. We suggest registering on your phone or other device before checking in.

Child care offerings vary based on race location. Review the location info below to find out more.

Haverford YMCA Course
The KidZone is available at the Haverford YMCA during the race at the Haverford Course. It is a max of 2 hours of free babysitting and open for members only. KidZone will open at 7:45 am. Please communicate to the Kid Zone staff that you will be participating in the race so they are aware you are not in the building. 

Navy Yard Course, Spring Valley YMCA Course, and Willow Grove YMCA Course
There are no child care options provided by these race sites.

Yes, all participants are required to register, however, kids under 6 years old are FREE. This will be reflected in the registration process.

We will have bottled water, fruit, and wrapped snacks available for runners after the race. 

No refunds are given.

This is a rain or shine event. No refunds will be given.

No, pets are not permitted on the course.

Strollers are permitted on certain race courses for the Gobble Wobble 5K. Please review the info below on which sites allow strollers.

Haverford YMCA Course & Navy Yard Course
Yes, strollers are welcome on the course.

Spring Valley YMCA Course
Strollers are permitted on the 1-mile walking course. Strollers are not permitted on the 5k run course.

Willow Grove YMCA Course
Strollers are permitted on the course, but please start in the back of your corral.

Shirt sizes are guaranteed through October 15, 2025 only. Until this time, please email us to change your shirt size. After October 15 the sizes are not guaranteed. 

The long sleeve race shirts are 100% polyester, lightweight, roomy and highly breathable, with moisture-wicking. Plus, they feature PosiCharge technology to lock in color and prevent logos from fading! Youth size shirts are cotton.

Shirt sizes are only guaranteed for participants who registered by 10/15/25. Shirts are available while supplies last.

Participants who refer 3 friends using sharable links after registration are eligible for up to a $30 refund!

You can pick up your packet before the race begins on race day. Your packet/t-shirt will be available at the Check-in/Registration tables. Please budget time to wait in line before race-day. We suggest getting there when registration opens to allow yourself time to pickup your packet and return items to your car that you do not wish to run with.
