PACKET PICKUP
It is strongly recommended that runners/walkers pick up their packets prior to race day.
There will be a Navy Yard Course Race Expo with music, pictures, and fun along with Packet Pick up on Tuesday, November 25th from 5pm – 8pm. The Expo and pre-race packet pick up is held at FS Investments (Future Standard) 201 Rouse Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19112 in the Navy Yard (corner of Intrepid & Rouse).
You can also pick up your packet Race Day at the race site from 7:15 AM - 8:00 AM – but there will be a line, so be prepared to wait.
REGISTRATION
Registration is open through 8:00 AM on Thursday, November 27, 2025. Kids refer to those aged 6 through 12. Children under 6 are free, but must register.
We suggest registering through our website even on Race Day. This can be done on your mobile device or computer or at our registration station on one of our devices. This is the fastest way to register. Cash is not accepted on race day.
Shirts are not guaranteed on Race Day. Please consider registering before October 15th to secure your shirt and size.
PARKING INFO
There is free street parking around the Navy Yard campus, along with parking in the 1 Crescent Drive lot (300 car lot on Intrepid Ave & 13th St). Parking in the 1 Crescent Drive lot will begin at 7:00am. Overnight street parking is not allowed. A secondary lot is available at 4921 South Broad Street as well.
We encourage carpooling for groups attending. Parking is first come, first served. Note that the parking lots are private and reserved for Navy Yard businesses. Please do not park in unauthorized lots. Parking in unauthorized lots may result in your vehicle being towed.
Rideshare Access
If you are going to use rideshares or a taxi, use the address 1 Crescent Drive and walk down S Broad St. to the Marine Parade Grounds.
Public Transit, Pedestrian, and Bicycle Access
The Navy Yard is bike friendly with bike lanes and bike racks throughout the Navy Yard. Two Indego Bike Share stations are located inside the Navy Yard, two are located at NRG Station (Broad St. & Pattison Ave.). The closest bike share station at the Navy Yard is at Crescent Park (1 Crescent Drive, one block north of the Marine Parade Grounds).
The closest SEPTA stop to the Navy Yard is the NRG station, the southernmost stop on the Broad Street Line.
If you choose to walk via Broad Street (one mile south from the NRG station), please use the sidewalk along the west side of Broad Street adjacent to FDR park.
Directions to the Starting Line
The race start line is located at 4747 S Broad St. Follow signs for parking. Race begins at Intrepid Ave and South Broad Street. The intersection is next to the Marine Parade Grounds.
1321 Intrepid Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19112 is the address for the start/finish line. It will not begin at the intersection of Intrepid/South Broad. Registration tent/volunteer tent/dj will all be located on the Marine Parade Grounds.
COURSE INFO
Starting Line: Runners and walkers will begin from the starting line on Intrepid Ave direct past the intersection with South Broad Street.
5K Runners: The run will take you along the riverfront through the quiet grounds of the Navy Yard with a picturesque view of the ships at the finish line. There is a sharp turnaround point at the halfway mark adjacent to Cresent Park. The final 1/2 mile will be shared with walkers.
Route: Start Intrepid Ave and then turn left on South Broad Street. Turn left on Admiral Peary Way. Turn left on Rouse Boulevard. Turn right on League Island Boulevard. Turn right on Kitty Hawke Avenue. Turn right on Broad Street.
Walkers: The 1.2 mile walking course will take you along the riverfront and perform a loop around the Navy Yard grounds. The final 1/2 mile will be shared with 5K runners. Families, strollers, and all ages of participants are encouraged to join. This course is not timed.
Strollers are permitted on the courses. Pets are NOT permitted on the courses.

CORRALS
During the registration process, you will be asked to select your anticipated time from the below options.
- Under 7 minutes per mile (anticipated finish under 21 minutes)
- 7-9 minute mile (anticipated finish between 21-27 minutes)
- 9-11 minute mile (anticipated finish between 27-33 minutes)
- Over 11 minute mile (anticipated finish more than 34 minutes)

AWARDS
Awards are given out following the end of the 5k.
Medals will be given to the overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place runners of the race for male, female, and non-binary categories. Medals will also be given to the 1st place runner in each age bracket in the male and female categories.
Age brackets: 6-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
